A signup away is a private beta of what is shaping up to be one useful application. GetDropbox is a file management application that synchronizes Mac and PC files together, simultaneously creating a parallel web archive. If compatibility and syncing is not impressive enough, the web based archive of the files has options for making folders and files public, allowing for collaboration and sharing. Assign a public url to that photo or file and save yourself (and others) the bother of tying up email clients with large files. GetDropbox is still in private beta, but we think it’ll be worth the trial (invites at the site) or the wait.
