SpreadShirt: Customized Printing For Apparel

Specializing in clothing, SpreadShirt offers online printing and promotion for individuals and companies. Anything from T-shirts to undergarments are available to design, sell and buy at the cleanly designed SpreadShirt website.
Users interested in selling the merchandise they have designed and printed can create an online store that can be nested into their own site (iFrame or Flash). Stores can be laid out in colors you like or with a pre-made template, and in addition to the ability to set the name, language and currency, can be stocked with over a hundred products. With each of the SpreadShirt products a design tool can be used to create designs on the spot, or you can upload your own images.
The strength of SpreadShirt may lay in its collection of customizable products more than its store however. Store owners may find the commission model for the SpreadShirt online store a put off. After all, it is their design, and businesses attempting to brand their company are likely to feel that it is a waste of resources to only see a small return for their efforts. This said, SpreadShirt has a range of options that will appeal to users who want to create unique clothing. Eco-friendly, men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel are available, with a few accessories thrown in. Hats, mousepads, and dog tees (they can’t just wear anything you know) are also customizable.
Where SpreadShirt is lacking is in products outside apparel and a way for users to rank merchandise in the marketplace, which would be a way for users to vote for their favorites. Even with this gap in the marketplace, SpreadShirt is an option for users looking to custom print on apparel.
