Hey!Spread: Basic Video Distribution

A partner program with Hey!Watch, a video conversion application, Hey!Spread is designed to distribute video content across 20 different networks. It does this through a four tab navigational bar with features common to video distribution applications, which helps you simplify the process.
Hey!Spread does require a financial commitment - either in credits (20 for $1) or a prepayment - before allowing users to use the service. This may not seem a bother to some users, though it should be said that there is no trial period to Hey!Spread.
The first thing you see when you enter Hey!Spread is a Dashboard that shows you the videos you’ve uploaded, their statistics, the current top videos and the top destinations among your videos. It’s a convenient way to keep track of your videos and the comparison chart offers a visual way to measure success.
For tracking, Hey!Spread gives the option of tracking videos by urls, which does mean that users can track any video they like, not just their own (including competitors’ videos), but this is the extent of the tracking Hey!Spread offers.
With the feature YouClone, the fourth tab in Hey!Spread, we see what the original intent of Hey!Spread must have been. YouClone lets you transfer YouTube videos from YouTube to 18 other networks, credit free.
Where Hey!Spread is lacking is in pricing and promotion - it has no option for promoting your videos, and its pricing requires that you spend credits for every service. Upload - 1 credit. Encode the video - 2 credits. Watermarking? 2 Credits. Tracking one url? 3 credits. This can become tedious, and, if you are a user looking to move a volume of videos, it could become costly.
In the end there’s not a lot of features to Hey!Spread; upload, distribute, and track a few urls, which may suit light users. For users looking for applications like this one, there is the Listio search: manage+videos.
