Expens’d: Simple Expense Tracking

Expens’d is a simple application to be sure, but when it comes to finances, especially the complicated expense process, simplicity is a good thing. Four tabs let you enter in your expenses, manage users, and generate simple reports for comparisons.
The benefit of Expens’d is how easy it is to operate. Where some applications may complicate their interface with options, Expens’d has pared it to the essentials, giving us an intuitive interface for expense management. Team leaders or management users will like the ability to approve expense reports, as well as the account-wide tagging for rapid searching.
Another feature with Expens’d is the way that notes are shown on the page, appearing between name and date on the dashboard, so any noteworthy information is not disregarded. If, for example, there was a special reason you had to purchase an uncommon item, that note in a prominent place may be the difference between reimbursement and rejected expense reports.
The downside to Expens’d is just what the upside is: simplicity. Users looking for detailed reports, or expense tracking that can combine with time tracking or other productivity are forced to look elsewhere.
A free account will grant one user access to the Expens’d application, but users wanting to use expense approval feature, or attach documents will have to begin with the startup plan of $12 monthly (1gb attachment space).
