FluidSurveys: Simple Surveys Online

The first thing you notice about fluidSurveys is a spare but vibrantly colored design, which makes getting around the application easy. The next thing you notice is how simple the layout makes everything from dragging and dropping questions into your surveys to administering changes within your survey.

Creation with fluidSurveys is simple; a drag and drop interface lets users place (and move) a variety of question types into the survey, though to have the full range of question types, users must upgrade to a premium account. There are also publishing options that you may not expect, such as limiting session contributions from users to a single time, or as often as they visit.

Publishing with fluidSurveys is done on the web, and visitors will find the same simplicity that is on the site within the survey layout. FluidSurveys is weak in customization - there are no templates or backgrounds to change - but it is possible to upload a logo. Premium members looking to change the appearance of fluidSurveys will have to contact the company for customization.

Users with a free account will be able to send out unlimited surveys of up to 20 questions, but with only 100 responses possible. This is one of the weak spots of fluidSurveys - even with paid accounts there are limitations to the number of responses possible. The starting plan at $14.95 a month offers additional question types and up to 500 responses, but users looking to reach a wide polling field will have to opt for one of the premium plans.
